Being an EFT practitioner is fun, exciting and rewarding work. It's also serious business. Working with people's issues requires skill, real confidence based on experience, good intuition and enough personal development to ‘get yourself out of the way’.
You can’t really get that from books, videos or an online course.
Live workshops are the heart of our EFT Certification program, followed by lots of practice and personal consultation with our director, Rob Nelson. You get empowerment, encouragement and feedback tailored to your individual needs. Please check out our requirements for certification and our EFT curriculum below.
The cost of our inclusive certification package is $1800. This is an additional tuition beyond the cost of the EFT workshops, and includes being listed on our practitioner directory, free access to our Building a Thriving Practice video course and valuable post-grad group consultations for life.

Requirements in Detail:
EFT Level 1 & 2 workshops These are live two day workshops that augment theory and technique with demonstrations, discussion and practice sessions. Our curriculum holds very close to Gary Craig’s original EFT standards and is geared toward addressing the real world issues your clients will bring to you, from severe traumatic memories to chronic back pain to cravings for chocolate. Even if you’ve taken EFT trainings before and have been doing EFT for years, we're confident you’ll find real value in these workshops.

50 Sessions with Clients Our workshops are truly awesome, but practice gives you the confidence you’ll need to put yourself out there. We require only a simple log of your practice sessions with notes to bring to consultation.
All sessions must be one hour or longer
They may include Hacking Reality
Must include a minimum of 30 different clients
At least 15 sessions must be with "real" clients (not friends, family or swap)
Group sessions don't count
An informed consent form must be offered and signed by all clients
You may charge for sessions or not, as you see fit
Ethics Requirement Read the book Creating Healing Relationships—Professional Standards for Energy Therapy Practitioners by Dorothea Hover-Kramer, and take the online exam. The cost of the book is the only thing not included in your tuition - the Kindle version is $9.99. This requirement is waived for licensed psychologists, therapists and social workers.
Personal Work It's so essential to clear our own issues if we want to work with others. It’s also important to know how it feels being an EFT client. We require our students to log 15 EFT sessions minimum as a client. Sessions should be at least one hour long and may include Hacking Reality. Sessions may be done with swap partners.
Consultation This is where you bring your challenging cases and problems that have come up in your practice sessions. It's hard to overstated how important this is! We require a minimum of 6 sessions - 3 one-on-one and 3 group via Zoom. You are welcome to attend more than 3 group sessions and you may continue even after graduation (one of the best perks of our program!).
Recorded Sessions With your client's permission you'll record two Zoom sessions to the cloud and submit the file. Rob will review the session with you. The first one after 15 sessions, the second after 30.
Liability insurance We recommend coverage when you start logging sessions. It’s required to be a Clinic provider and to take the final exam. If you aren't already covered, EMPI seems to offer a pretty good policy for around $250 a year.
Final Exam Having completed and submitted all other requirements, students must take and pass an open-book, online exam. Don’t be anxious. Unless you’ve somehow slept through the workshops and lost your manuals, you'll pass with flying colors.
Once you've passed the exam, you'll receive your Diploma and you can now be listed as a Certified EFT Practitioner on our directory!
You'll also receive our Certified Practitioner logo for use on your website, business cards and marketing materials.
So How Long Will All This Take?
It mostly depends on how many practice sessions you log each week. For example at 2 per week it would take 6 months. At 3 a week that's about 4 months. We actually give you a full 12 months to complete everything - after that there's a $100 continuation fee to re-up. Most students take around 6 months to complete the requirements.

And even after you graduate, you're welcome to attend our twice a month group consultation calls. It's hard to overstate how valuable this can be for your continued growth and success as a practitioner. And our graduates pay no yearly fees to remain on the practitioner directory - saving you hundreds of dollars over other programs.
One of the wonderful and awesome things that often happens in our program is that fellow students become friends and future colleagues - swapping sessions and supporting each other through the certification process, and then on into private practice!
